What is my school's basic username and password?
Advisors require a Basic Username & Password to log in to the Career Advisor Management System (CAMS) in the Username and Password fields. These credentials are required along with a unique Advisor password.
If you have an Advisor login for your school, the school's Basic Username & Password is included in your login credentials. To find the information in CAMS:
- From your Advisor Homepage, click License Information.
- The License Information page will display your school's Basic Username & Password, along with the expiration date for the account. For security purposes, do not publish these details online. Instead, share the information through email, handouts, or posters.
If you don't have an Advisor login for your school, please follow these steps to obtain one.
Note: If your school allows students to create their own Career Cruising accounts, an Advisor will need to provide them the Basic Username & Password the first time they access the program.
