Customizing Reports

You can customize reports to include specific groups of students; for example, groups by grade, gender, and assigned Advisor. You can create as many customized reports as you like and save your configurations.  

To customize a report:

  1. Find the report you want to view by clicking Completion Reports, Portfolio Reports, Course Planner Reports, or Application Planner Reports from your Advisor Homepage
  2. Click the Customize link to the right of the name of the report you want to view.
  3. Select the criteria for the students you want to include. If you do not want to limit the report by a particular criterion, do not make a selection for that option.
  4. Once you've made your selections, click View Report.  

Note: Saving your report configuration does not save the report data. If you want to save report data, please use the export feature described below.

Exporting Reports

Report summary data can be conveniently exported as an Excel spreadsheet or a text file. 

To export a report:

  1. Find the report you want to view by clicking Completion ReportsPortfolio ReportsCourse Planner Reports, or Application Planner Reports from your Advisor Homepage
  2. Click the name of the report you want to export (you can customize the report before you export it if desired).  
  3. In the top right corner of the screen, find the Export Data File box.
  4. Select the format you'd like to export the file in: Excel Spreadsheet (.csv) or Text File (.txt) and click Export
  5. Follow the instructions in your web browser. Be sure to rename the file and remember where you saved it.
