How do I remove the "Not Returning" link for students?

If you don't want students to set their status to Not Returning in Course Planner, here's how to remove that option:

  1. From your Advisor Homepage, click Course Planner.
  2. Under Administrative Tools, click Grade Settings.
  3. Select the edit (pencil) icon in the grade where you'd like to remove the Not Returning link.
  4. Under Planner Options, uncheck the box beside Show Not Returning Link and click Submit. Your settings will be saved and you'll return to the Grade Settings page, where you can make changes to other grades.

Note: The Not Returning setting is usually left active for students in their final year of high school because they're graduating. However, you can change the entire grade's status at once if you don't want that setting to show up on the student side. You can also change the reason(s) for not returning if you want to keep the link active for specific circumstances only.
