Is a student ID required to create a student account?

The student ID requirement depends on if your school is Data Integrated (?).

If your school is Data Integrated, it's mandatory to add a student ID when creating student accounts because this is how information from your Student Information System is matched during data transfers. Without a student ID, any manually entered students will be deactivated during the next data transfer.

If your school is not Data Integrated, adding a student ID to student accounts is optional but recommended for tracking and search purposes.
